- 1.【Detects All Halogen Refrigerants】The professional refrigerant leak detector can detect all CFCs, HFCs and HCFCs refrigerants, such as R12, R11, R500, R503, R22, R123, R124, R502, R134a, R404a, R125, etc. Detect Blends such as AZ-50, HP62, MP39, etc; Detect Ethylene Oxide gas leaks; Detect SF-6 in high-voltage circuit breakers; Detect most gases containing Chlorine, Fluorine and Bromine; Detect cleaning agents used in dry cleaning applications; Detect Halon gases in fire extinguishing systems.
- 2.【Power Indication and Battery Test Function】(1) After the leak detector is turned on, the leftmost LED is green, orange or red, indicating the battery power. (2) The battery test function is activated by pressing the battery test key. When pressed, the LED light will display the real voltage in red. The color position of the red LED light corresponds to the voltage. Except for the first LED light can display green, orange or red, the rest of the LED lights only display red.
- 3.【Automatic Circuit/Reset Function】Upon initial power on, the refrigerant leak detector automatically sets itself to ignore the level of refrigerant present at the tip. Or press the reset button, and the LED lights will light up red for one second, which will make the circuit ignore the level of refrigerant present at the tip. Only a level, or concentration, greater than this will cause an alarm. Note: If the probe is turned on where there is already a leak, the leak will not be detected.
- 4.【Six Levels of Sensitivity Adjustment】After the HVAC leak detector is turned on, the sensitivity is automatically set to level 5. Press the up/down key to adjust the sensitivity, short press or long press will have different adjustment effects. When the key is pressed, the LED light will display red, and the number of LED lights on indicates the level of sensitivity. NOTE: Each time the sensitivity level is increased or decreased, the relative sensitivity is doubled or halved.
- 5.【6 Alarm Levels – Sound and Light Prompts】The refrigerant leak detector features 6 alarm levels, providing a clear indication of relative leak size and strength. The progressive indicators can be used to home-in on a leak, as the increasing alarm levels indicate that the source (highest concentration) is being approached. Each level is indicated by the number of red LED lights, the higher the level, the more red LED lights.6.
